UPCOMING & ONGOING EVENTS AT SSPP
America is suffering.
Economically. Morally. Culturally. Spiritually.
Yet despite the persecution we’re now facing, confusion in the Church, and the temptation to despair – maybe even because of those difficulties – Catholics are still filled with supernatural hope.
We know that we are not alone in the battle for America’s soul.
In times of great crisis, the Church calls upon the faithful to turn to Our Lady in prayer to intercede on our behalf. History is replete with evidence that she has never failed to come to the aid of those who ask.
To that end, I’m pleased to be one of the first to publicly announce the start of a nine-month novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe initiated by His Eminence Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke.
The novena to the Patroness of the Americas will begin on March 12 and culminate with an act of consecration on her feast day, December 12.
Every month of the novena, participants will receive emails directly from Cardinal Burke with encouragement and spiritual direction.
Let us respond with fervor to the Cardinal’s urgent worldwide call to prayer and a return to Our Lady for the spiritual health of our country.
Divine Mercy Sunday
Divine Mercy Sunday is celebrated annually on the first Sunday after Easter which is April 7th this year.
THROUGH PRIVATE REVELATION
TO ST. FAUSTINA, JESUS REVEALED:
"I want to grant a complete pardon to the souls that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion on the Feast of My Mercy (1109). The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion will obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment (699)."
- Diary of St. Maria Faustyna Kowalska -

HCS Annual SCHOOL Fund
Over the next few weeks, you will be hearing about our Annual School Fund in support of Huntington Catholic School. This initiative will allow us to better assist all students who want to attend our school by keeping tuition costs low as well as meet the rigorous academic needs of our growing population.
We are asking that all parishioners prayerfully consider making a gift to the school. Only by working together can we ensure that the great gift of education at Huntington Catholic School will be available to all who seek it.
A brochure with more information, a commitment card and a return envelope has been mailed to your home or is available in the back of our churches.
Thank you in advance for your prayerful discernment of how you may be able to help form young leaders and disciples in our community!

The Saint Challenge was launched on All Saint's Day, November 1st. It is a year-long series of challenges based on the saint of the day. In 90 seconds you'll learn a little fact about the saint of the day, and be given a challenge inspired by that saint. It could be a corporal or spiritual work of mercy, or something to improve your interior life and your relationship with God and neighbor. The Saint Challenge is free, and you can find more information and find ways to sign up at www.thesaintchallenge.com. Let's be saints!
